<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce a broadcast program seamlessly in a substantially real time manner in a playback unit mounted on a mobile body. <P>SOLUTION: A dead period estimating part 341 estimates a dead period during which it is impossible to receive a broadcasting signal in a running vehicle based on route information RTI and dead section information RIA. A playback control part 342A computes a shift time based on the dead period, and sends a record request REQ of the broadcast program data during the dead period to a server device. Thereafter, the server device records the broadcast program data during the dead period, and sends the broadcast program data in response to the request ERQ from the playback control part 342A.
