<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection structure for scale graduation, composed of a graduation part which is formed on a scale base plate and protected by a scale cover to guard the top face side thereof, suppressing time deterioration of the graduation part resulting from a graduation-deteriorating component such as moisture. <P>SOLUTION: A protection structure for a scale graduation is composed of a graduation part 14 which is formed on a scale base plate 12 and protected by a scale cover 16 to guard the top face side thereof. The entire side circumference of the graduation part between the scale base plate and the scale cover is sealed with an adhesive mixed with glass powder (powder material) 32, which blocks the penetration of a graduation-deteriorating component so as to form a circumferential adhesive layer 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
