<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily prevent occurrence of such a situation that a load circuit draws the power supply current excessively when the value of power supply current being supplied is smaller than expected and thereby the voltage of the power supply current drops undesirably. <P>SOLUTION: A power supply control unit (21) using an internal power supply voltage (VCC), generated based on a power supply current supplied to a power supply input terminal (VBUS), as an operation power supply is provided with a current limit circuit (30) which provides a current to a power supply output terminal while limiting inflow of the current so that the current flowing into the power supply input terminal does not exceed a target current value. Furthermore, a current limit value switching circuit (31) is employed for controlling the inflow current from the current limit circuit to be smaller than the target current value, when the current flowing into the transmission path of the power supply current does not reach the target current value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
