<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate operation support data of good precision while miniaturizing a tubular part. <P>SOLUTION: This bending operation system 100 includes the tubular part 110 having a bending part 115. The bending part 115 is bent by the traction or delivery of a first wire 122 and a second wire 124 by the drive part 132 and chain 126 in a grasping part 130. A first displacement detection part 136 detects the displacement (first displacement) of the first wire 122 and a second displacement detection part 138 detects the displacement (second displacement) of the second wire 124. A calculation part 140 calculates the bending quantity of the bending part being one of operation support data on the basis of the first displacement and the second displacement.
