<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sufficient strength and support to an automated step board assembly. <P>SOLUTION: A rocker molding attaching system includes: a rocker stay 14; a bridge bracket 18 connected to the rocker stay 14 via rocker attaching brackets 16a, 16b; and the automated step board assembly 12 connected to the bridge bracket 18. The rocker stay 14 is attached to a rocker mall of a vehicle, and the bridge bracket 18 is attached to the lower edge part of a vehicle outer door.
