PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation restriction device for a portable terminal which can restrict a driver's operation of a portable terminal that is not specified to a vehicle during driving, and a computer program.SOLUTION: An operation restriction device for a portable terminal is provided with: a portable terminal 14 which can receive an infrared signal; infrared ray transmission/reception parts 11a, 11b, 11c which are installed at respective seats of a vehicle and transmit permission signals comprising infrared rays receivable by the portable terminal 14; and a signal processor 10 for stopping transmission of the permission signals by the infrared ray transmission/reception part 11a installed at a driver's seat while the vehicle is traveling. The portable terminal 14 restricts operation of its own terminal on the condition that its own terminal is inside the vehicle and the permission signal is not received. |
