<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter frame that has a damping function to protect from shocks the tip of a lens barrel when in transit or being used for shooting, and permits easy detaching of the filter frame body fitted to the tip of the lens barrel by holding the outer circumferential cover member of the filter frame body between fingertips to prevent its undesired spinning.SOLUTION: On the outer circumferential part of a filter frame body, an extra-filter circumferential frame integrated with a filter fitting edge is formed; the external side of the extra-filter circumferential frame is covered with relatively soft thermosetting elastomer or thermoplastic elastomer to form an outer circumferential cover member; a function to damp shocks on the filter frame body and a lens barrel is provided by the outer circumferential cover member, and the filter frame body fitted to the tip of a lens barrel can be easily detached by holding the outer circumferential cover member of the filter frame body between fingertips to prevent its undesired spinning.</p> |
