PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a layout generation system or the like which easily generates layout information of electrical equipment connected to a home network.SOLUTION: An equipment information acquisition unit 251 acquires equipment information collected by a controller. A room layout editing unit 252 which adds a configuration of a room with electrical equipment installed therein according to user operation, to edit a simplified room layout of a house. An equipment icon arrangement unit 253 arranges an icon of the electric equipment according to the user operation in each of rooms in the room layout edited by the room layout editing unit 252. A layout generation unit 254 generates layout information of the electrical equipment in the house, on the basis of the edited room layout and the icons arranged therein.
