摘要 The present invention relates to a selective catalytic reduction catalyst using an agalmatolite and a method for preparing the same and, more particularly, to a selective catalytic reduction catalyst using an agalmatolite, the selective catalytic reduction catalyst having high porosity and a homogeneous pore size, and thus having excellent catalyst supporting capacity, excellent thermal shock resistance and excellent mechanical strength, and to a method of preparing the selective catalytic reduction catalyst, the method using a large amount of agalmatolite to be able to reduce a content of alumina necessary for a cordierite synthesis due to the alumina contained in a large amount in agalmatolite and lowering a sintering temperature to reduce raw material costs and fuel costs, thus reducing manufacturing costs.
