PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor for a digital image capturing device and the digital image capturing device for improving the sharpness of colors.SOLUTION: The sensor is provided with pixels R, G, B and pixels U corresponding to a UV spectrum band or an infrared spectrum band. The pixels U are used to improve the sharpness of visible colors. A distance d of an object for image forming is indicated by a horizontal coordinate and the diameter D of a blur spot is indicated by a vertical coordinate. Curves 20.3, 20.4, 20.5, and 20.6 respectively express variations in diameter D depending on the distance d relating to red R, green G, blue B, and ultraviolet U. The sharpness of the U color of the object placed between a distance d1 and a distance d2 is reflected to the RGB colors. |
