<p>Disclosed are a method and device for reserving a relay resource, which relate to the field of communications. The method comprises the steps of: a fault analyzer sending a fault event to a resource reserver; after receiving the fault event, the resource reserver sending a fault object request to a path computation element; after receiving the fault object request, the path computation element computing, according to whole-network network state information for the current network as self-collected in real time, a wavelength resource, a relay resource and a path made usable by the addition of said relay resource of said current network, and sending the computation result to the resource reserver; and the resource reserver obtaining the relay resource to be reserved for the current network according to the received computation result. The method and device eliminate the uncertainties of relay resource use in dynamic rerouting, thereby improving the efficiency of reserving relay resources in rerouting situations.</p> |
