PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical for treatment, prevention or delay of progression of multiple sclerosis in a pediatric patient with multiple sclerosis or a patient who suffers from a chronic or recurrent condition, e.g., selected from dyspnea, diarrhea, nausea and asthma.SOLUTION: A method comprises administering a pharmaceutical composition comprising about 1.25 mg, 0.5 mg or less of a 2-amino-2-[2-(4-C2-20 alkylphenyl)ethyl]propane-1,3-diol compound represented by the formula in the figure or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. |
