The present invention relates to a system and a method for analyzing usage data of a digital photographing device by using a cloud server. The method according to an embodiment comprises the steps of: collecting usage data of a digital photographing device and recording the same in an internal memory; determining connection between the digital photographing device and an external device; converting the usage data into a binary encoded file when the same is connected with the external device; and transmitting the binary encoded file to the external device.
