Provided is a group communication method of a group communication application server. The group communication application server compares the number of a plurality of terminals which participate in group communications with a threshold value in a cell supporting a broadcasting channel. If the number of the terminals is the threshold value or more, the group communication application server supplies group communication data to the terminals through the broadcasting channel. If the number of the terminals is smaller than the threshold value, the group communication application server supplies the group communication data to each terminal through an individual call.
