<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable abnormal state of blowing air to be positively detected at a combustion device in which an action of a blower is carried out under a state in which combustion with a burner is not carried out.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a combustion device comprising a burner 9 for generating flame toward an inside of a furnace 3; a blower 8 for pressurizing air and supplying air to the burner 9; an air blowing passage connecting between the blower 8 and the burner 9 to feed air from the blower to the burner; and an air blowing detector 12 for detecting a flow of air supplied through the air blowing passage. When the operation of the blower 8 is being carried out under a state in which the combustion by the burner 9 is not carried out, the air blowing by the blower is not stopped and a state in which a detection of blowing air cannot be carried out by the air blowing detector 12 is artificially made, thereby it is confirmed that the air blowing detector device performing an output of presence of air blowing performs an output of no air blowing, and soundness in operation is confirmed.</p> |
