The present invention provides a system for a chemically tempered glass substrate, which adheres well particularly to the glass substrate and provides an anti-reflective effect and especially high scratch resistance. Accordingly, provided is a scratch-resistant chemically tempered glass element (1) comprising a chemically tempered glass substrate (10) having a potassium-rich surface (11), and a layer system (200) which comprises a plurality of successive layers including an oxygen-rich layer (20) adjacent to the potassium-rich surface (11) of the glass substrate (10). The oxygen-rich layer (20) includes predominantly a silicon oxide and/or an aluminum oxide. The oxygen-rich layer (20) is an adhesion promoting layer (20) for a nitridic hard material layer (30) which is the lowermost part of a multi-layered, in particular four-layered, anti-reflective coating (100). The anti-reflective coating (100) is composed of layers of different refractive indices which are alternating higher refractive indices (30, 50) and lower refractive indices (40, 60). |
