<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce undesired flow phenomenon predicted in a casing of a fluid machine during a small flow rate operation, and to reduce a rightward rising unstable region of performance (Q-H) characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: This fluid machine includes an impeller (10) rotated and driven and a casing (3) housing the impeller (10). The casing (3) includes a tongue part (35) guiding a fluid to a discharge pipe (5), and at least one inner wall surface (31, 32) spaced apart from the impeller (10) in an axial direction and facing the impeller (10). A fluid passage (7) is demarcated between the impeller (10) and the at least one inner wall surface (31, 32) of the casing (3). Such a fluid machine further includes a vortex generation suppression structure (50, 52) at at least one inner wall surface (31, 32) of the casing (3), for suppressing the vortex generation causing an unstable operation of the fluid machine, which may occur in the fluid passage (7). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
