PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio wave clock device, in which a complete and stable standard radio wave is detected and an accurate time is obtained. SOLUTION: The clock device has receiving means 30, 35 for receiving a standard radio wave, including a time information as a standard; a time measurement means 42 for measuring time; a set means 42 for setting the clock time of the time measurement means 42, so that it becomes a time information included in the standard radio wave; a detection means 42 for detecting stoppage the of engine of a car; and a control means 42 for controlling it, so that the receiving means 42 is operated for the time when so the engine of the car is detected stopped by a detection as a result of the detection means 42, so that the accurate standard radio wave in a state where it can be received surely can be received and consumption of power can be reduced. |
