PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a near-infrared cut filter which offers not only superior near-infrared blocking capability but also good durability with smaller temporal degradation in the near-infrared blocking capability by preventing disintegration of organic pigments caused by properties of an oxide film and a fluoride film that constitutes films laid adjacent to a light absorption film.SOLUTION: A near-infrared cut filter 10 of the present invention includes; a substrate 12 which is transparent in the visible ray range; a first dielectric multilayer film 14 which is provided at least on one surface of the substrate 12 and reflects at least light in the red to near-infrared range; a light absorption film 16 which is provided at least on the other surface of the substrate 12 and absorbs part of light in the red to near-infrared range; and a dielectric film (anti-reflection film) 18 which is provided on the outer side of the light absorption film 16 relative to the substrate 12 and includes a nitride film. |
