Provided are a display device and a control method thereof. The display device of the present invention comprises: an image control unit for detecting and storing logo data from an image signal, which is provided by an input and includes a logo, based on a predetermined reference, generating logo transform data by transforming the stored logo data, and generating output image data including the logo transform data; a reset signal generation unit for generating a reset signal in response to a channel change signal generated in response to a channel change and providing the reset signal to the image control unit; and a display unit for receiving the output image data from the image control unit to display an image. The image control unit can reset the stored logo data in response to the reset signal. |
