FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: method for purification of bottom reservoirs from oil and oil products includes separation of oil and oil products from bottom sediments, lifting oil-containing mixture to the surface of reservoir and oil and oil products collection with their following utilisation. Bottom sediments are washed out by water-air jet. Lifted to the surface of reservoir by airlift 5 oil-containing mixture is divided into gas, companion water, light floating and hard sinking hydrophobic oil fractions. Gas is released into atmosphere. Hydrophobic oil fractions are collected in oil-collecting tank 1. Companion water is purified from remnants of oil products with oil-absorbing materials 11 and discharged into reservoir that is being purified.
