PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas discharge device for a casting die capable of quickly and easily performing maintenance since a gas pipe can be inserted/pulled out into/from a holder while maintaining a required holding power.SOLUTION: In a gas discharge device 10 for a casting die,: a holder 50 has a body 51 disposed with an insertion hole part 54 inserted with the upper end side of a gas pipe 40 and an exhaust hole 56 exhausting a gas outside from the insertion hole part 54; and an elastic member 53 pressing the gas pipe 40 toward the inner surface of the insertion hole part 54. The elastic member 53 presses the gas pipe 40 by an elastic force due to deformation caused by contacting the elastic member 53 with the gas pipe 40 when inserting the gas pipe 40 into the insertion hole part 54.
