Disclosed are a connection method and device. The method comprises: determining the disconnection of a link, and after it is determined that the link is disconnected, maintaining a linkage already established and a network address already acquired for a preset time, and when information about recovery of the link is detected within the preset time, recovering the disconnected link using the linkage and the network address. By means of the present invention, the problem in the related art that the previous IP address cannot be retained when a network link is recovered after disconnection is solved, and the original IP address is still retained when the link is recovered, thereby guaranteeing the smooth progress of network services. |
