PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a configuration in which it is possible to suppress, at low cost, a change in the distribution of the magnetic flux density near a regulatory blade 9 of a developer regulatory pole facing the regulatory blade 9 while also suppressing the influences of other magnetic poles on the freedom of design.SOLUTION: Assuming that the position on outer circumference of a development sleeve at which magnetic flux density in the normal direction relative to the outer circumference of the development sleeve is at maximum is a maximum value position, and the position on outer circumference of the development sleeve corresponding to the center position of a range equal to half the distribution of the magnetic flux density of a development regulatory pole is a half-value center position, then the development regulatory pole is formed so that the maximum value position shifts 3 degrees or more in the circumferential direction of the development sleeve relative to the half-value center position, and that the position on the outer circumference of the development sleeve opposed to the regulatory blade 9 is closer to a side where the half-value center position exists than the maximum value position. |
