PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve downsizing of an organic EL panel.SOLUTION: An organic EL panel manufacturing method comprises: a first process of forming an organic EL element 30 on each first substrate 10 on a mother board 2 where the first boards 10 are laid out; a second process of forming encapsulation films 34 so as to cover organic EL elements 30, respectively; a third process of forming grooves 5 at least on part of division scheduled lines 4 for removing the first boards 10 from the mother board 2 after the second process; a fourth process of bonding second boards 40 to every plurality of first boards 10 via adhesives 41 after the third process so as to cover the encapsulation films 34; and a fifth process of dividing the mother board 2 at the division scheduled lines 4 after the fourth process.
