METHOD OF PROVIDING SWITCH DATA OUTPUT USING MAC ADDRESS TABLE AND ADDRESS RESOLUTION PROTOCOL TABLE

A method for offering a data output service in a switch management system by using an ARP(Address Resolution Protocol) table and a MAC(Media Access Control) address table is provided to perform a swift and definite task based on reliable data when a network failure occurs. A method for offering a data output service in a switch management system by using an ARP(Address Resolution Protocol) table and a MAC(Media Access Control) address table comprises the following several steps. The switch management system accesses a switch, a subscriber authentication procedure is performed, and a list of management target service servers is outputted(S10-S70). Server IP information and an MAC address are outputted from the outputted list and the server IP information is stored in a proprietary database(S80). A list of the MAC address and switch ports is outputted and is stored in the database(S90-S110). The server IP information is combined with the switch port information and the combined data is outputted(S120).
