FIELD: different branches of industry, possibly manufacture of stone building, chemically resistant, dielectric, refractory and wear resistant articles. ^ SUBSTANCE: method for producing stone articles comprises steps of filling forms with heated material; soaking articles in them and then removing cooled articles out of forms; heating stone material up to softening temperature, "yielding" under load; placing batch of heated material in squeezing chamber; then displacing said material to working cavities of forms by means of mechanical force. ^ EFFECT: shortened time period for soaking articles in forms, lowered cost price of stone articles, reduced power consumption for producing articles. ^ 1 ex |
