PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display panel drive device and a display panel drive method with which it is possible to downsize a device scale and reduce power consumption and calorific power.SOLUTION: A plurality of video data fragments corresponding to one horizontal scanning line of a display panel are divided into a first video data group and a second video data group differing from the first video data group, and each of the video data fragments belonging to the first video data group is converted to a gradation voltage having an analog voltage value. Then, by interpolation processing based on each of the gradation voltages, a gradation voltage corresponding to each of the video data fragments belonging to the second video data group is obtained. |
