In the present invention, a hair dye composition has a pH (25˚C) of 7.5 to 12 and comprises the following components (A), (B), and (C) : (A) one or more kinds of azo dyes selected from the group consisting of (A-1), (A-2), and (A-3); (B) a cationic compound; and (C) 0.1 to 8 mass% of at least one alkali metal salt of an acid selected from the group consisting of hydrochloric acid, carbonic acid, and sulfuric acid. |
