<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle collision detector capable of reliably detecting the collision of an object. <P>SOLUTION: A chamber forming member 4 is arranged between a bumper reinforcement 1 and a bumper cover 2 to form a chamber space 41a which is deformed associated with the relative movement of the bumper cover 2 with respect to the bumper reinforcement 1. There are provided a pressure sensor 5 for detecting the pressure change of the chamber space 41a, and a touch sensor 6 which is arranged on the forward side of a vehicle of the bumper reinforcement 1 at the vertically different position with respect to the chamber space 41a to detect the contact with a movable member to be moved by the relative movement of the bumper cover 2 with respect to the bumper reinforcement 1.
