PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver enabling detection of direction of a device based on light signals received by a plurality of light receiving elements in the receiver in which the direction of a housing is changed in accordance with an installation situation, and also to provide a speaker device equipped with the receiver.SOLUTION: A speaker derive can be installed in a state where a receiving part 27A is placed on a rack toward a listening position and also in a state where a receiving part 27B is hung on a wall toward the hearing position.
