PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a LAN cable connection device, capable of surly and properly inserting and extracting a LAN cable into/from an IP device.SOLUTION: A pedestal base to be attached to a port side of an IP device, comprises a pedestal base body with the same number of the port, and the pedestal base body includes: an engaging projection part; a switch; and a display panel. An adapter 3 to be attached to a connector of a LAN cable comprises: a lock part 32 that has an elastic force in an advancement/retreating direction of the LAN cable and is freely inclined; a conductive part 32a that is formed in a tip of the lock part 32; and an engaging concave part 311 that is formed in the tip of adapter 3. When engaging the engaging projection part 32 with the engaging concave part 311, the LAN cable can be properly connected to the port. On the other hand, when the lock part 32 is inclined to the port side, and the conductive part 32a is contacted to the switch, the display panel displays a number of the port, the claw part of the connector can be depressed, and the LAN cable can be pulled out.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
