PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst by which a carbamate compound can be decomposed at a fast thermal decomposition rate, an isocyanate compound can be produced at high selectivity and with a high yield, and a product material can easily be isolated.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a catalyst for producing an isocyanate compound having an alkali metal compound and/or alkaline earth metal compound supported on a carrier, and to a method for producing the same. Also, the present invention relates to a method for producing an isocyanate compound, characterized in that a carbamate compound is thermally decomposed under the presence of said catalyst.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
