PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator of a rotary electric machine excellent in assemblability and insulation properties.SOLUTION: A stator 100 of a rotary electric machine comprises: an inner peripheral-side core 2a constituted of a plurality of inner teeth 21a arranged annularly at equal intervals and an annular connection part 22a connecting circumferentially inner peripheral-side tip parts of the inner teeth 21a; an outer peripheral-side core 2b constituted of outer teeth 21b having the same number of the teeth as the number of the inner teeth 21a and an annular back yoke part 22 that connects circumferentially the outer peripheral-side end parts of the outer teeth 21b; and a plurality of coils 11 that are stored in slots 5 striding over a plurality of teeth 21. In one slot 5, a first slot storage part 11b1 for one coil is stored inside and a second slot storage part 11b2 for the other coil is stored outside, and at least the first slot storage part 11b1 is completely stored in an inner slot 5a formed between the inner teeth 21a in the slot 5.
