PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loom radio communication device which can achieve both the reliability of machine base authentication and excellent usability when a plurality of looms are managed by a portable information terminal including radio communication means.SOLUTION: A plurality of looms 11 are connected to a host computer 21. The plurality of looms 11 share a portable terminal device 31. Each loom 11 includes a loom-side short-distance radio communication unit 17. The terminal device 31 includes: a terminal device-side short-distance radio communication unit for performing machine base authentication with the loom-side short-distance radio communication unit 17; and a long-distance radio communication unit for performing data communication other than the machine base authentication with the host computer 21. A transmission/reception area A1 of the loom-side short-distance radio communication unit 17 is smaller than a distance between the loom-side short-distance radio communication units 17 of the looms 11 adjacent to each other. |
