<p>An ancillary device for attachment to a tin constructed of an outside and inside rolled rims separated by a channel for receiving a lid of the tin wherein the device is a plastic pourer whereby the inner radial lip is positioned under the inner rolled rim of the tin whereby a plastic hinge is formed in the pouring spout giving a downward slope relative to the top surface of the tin and the hinge is held in position by engaging the outer radial rim of the pourer over the outer rim of the tin creating a clipping effect to hold the pourer in place whereby cleats moulded into the pourer provide sufficient clearance for the pourer to deflect axially to create the downward slope and a trough angle required to allow a liquid to flow freely in the centre of the pourer hence no liquid will flow into the channel.</p> |
