摘要 Bearing unit (10) for a wind power plant having a self-aligning roller bearing (70) which is arranged in a bearing housing (12) and in which barrel-shaped rolling bodies (82, 84) are arranged in two parallel rolling body rows (78, 80) between a segmented inner ring (74) and a segmented outer ring (76), and in which the inner ring (74) is arranged on a main shaft (72) of the wind power plant. It is provided according to the invention that, over the entire axial length thereof, the bearing housing (12) has a longitudinal gap (18) and, as a result, has the cross-sectional geometry of a ring which is not split but is open in relation to the circumference, that the longitudinal gap (18) runs parallel to a longitudinal centre axis (16) of the bearing housing (12), that the longitudinal gap (18) is arranged in the region of a crown line (14) of the bearing housing (12), and that the longitudinal gap (18) can be closed with the aid of suitable means (24, 26). On account of the merely simply slotted embodiment of the otherwise non-split bearing housing (12), the latter achieves a considerably higher mechanical load-bearing capability in comparison with conventional bearing housings of half-shell or multiple-shell design, in addition to easy exchangeability of the self-aligning roller bearing (70).
