The present invention relates to an apparatus for measuring an indentation elastic modulus for local diagnosis of material damage and a method for measuring the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus for measuring an indentation elastic modulus comprises: a main indenter (210) indented to a specimen and has a first radius curvature; an auxiliary indenter (220) made of the same material as the material of the main indenter (210) and has a second radius curvature smaller than the first radius curvature; a load measuring part (400) which measures a load applied to the main indenter (210) or the auxiliary indenter (220) from the specimen; a displacement sensor (500) wherein the main indenter (210) or the auxiliary indenter (220) measures the depth of the indentation on the specimen; and a calculating part (600) which calculates the elastic modulus of the specimen using the depth measured by the load measuring part (400) and the depth measured by the displacement sensor (500).
