PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid state imaging apparatus.SOLUTION: A solid state imaging apparatus includes a substrate including a plurality of photoelectric conversion elements. The color filter layer is provided on the photoelectric conversion element. The light-shielding layer is provided between the color filter layer and the substrate. The light-shielding layer has a plurality of first light-shielding partitions extending along a first direction, and a plurality of second light-shielding partitions extending along a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The first light-shielding partitions have dimensions different along the second direction, and the second light-shielding partitions have length dimensions different along the first direction.
