<p>The aim of the invention is to provide a container for refrigerating a product to be refrigerated and/or keeping said product refrigerated, in particular food, comprising a storage tank arrangement for storing a flowable coolant, said container allowing a quick pre-cooling of the interior of the container in a simple manner with a prolonged subsequent refrigerated storage phase. This is achieved in that the storage tank arrangement comprises a pre-cooling tank and a refrigerated storage tank. The storage volume of the refrigerated storage tank is greater than the storage volume of the pre-cooling tank, and the cooling surface area of the refrigerated storage tank is smaller than the cooling surface area of the pre-cooling tank.</p> |
