In the present invention, a power transmission apparatus is configured from a power transmission coil (np), a power transmission circuit (101), and a direct current power supply (100). A power reception apparatus is configured from a power reception coil (ns), a power reception circuit (201), and a load (Ro). A resonant apparatus is configured from a resonant coil (nsm) and a resonant circuit (301). The power transmission apparatus directly converts electric energy of the direct current power supply into electromagnetic field energy, and expands a resonant field by flowing resonant currents at a same frequency to the power transmission coil (np) and the resonant coil (nsm). The power reception apparatus directly converts electromagnetic field energy of a resonant field into electric energy, thereby transmitting power to the power reception apparatus from the power transmission apparatus. |
