PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a converter.SOLUTION: A converter includes: a first bridge arm including a first switch unit and a second switch unit connected in series to an output terminal; a second bridge arm including two voltage sources connected in series to a neutral point terminal; a switch circuit electrically connected between the neutral point terminal and the output terminal; and a voltage clamp circuit for electrically connecting the output terminal, the neutral point terminal and a positive input terminal or a negative input terminal and for clamping voltage in the switch circuit.
