摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic endoscope system which accurately and clearly discriminates a normal part from an abnormal part. <P>SOLUTION: A dynamic threshold determination processing is provided. In the processing, an initial threshold for tentatively dividing a normal part and an abnormal part is set in advance. In the dynamic threshold determination processing, the gravity center of one of two groups divided by the initial threshold is evaluated and a dynamic threshold for dividing a normal part and an affected part is searched between the initial threshold and the gravity center. A tentative threshold is moved from the initial threshold to the gravity center with a predetermined movement steps.
