<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil strainer which includes a required and sufficient filtering function and in which a high-rigidity filter is easily formed and oil smoothly flows.SOLUTION: A cylindrical body 3 is formed from a first half-divided body 31 and a second half-divided body 33. In one end, an inflow hole 37a is formed through which oil flows into a hollow part 30. In another end, an outflow hole 39a is formed through which oil flows out of the hollow part 30. Open edges of the first half-divided body 31 and the second half-divided body 33 are abutted and a filter 5 is integrally held between both the half-divided bodies. The cylindrical body 3 includes an extension part 31d which extends from the open edge of the first half-divided body 31 to the outside and continues to the filter 5, for guiding oil from an upstream side to a downstream side. The inflow hole 37a is provided at a position corresponding to the extension part 31d.</p> |
