1. A gaming system comprising:
a plurality of speakers; a plurality of gaming devices each associated with at least one of the speakers, each of the plurality of gaming devices corresponding to a different sound; and a sound controller configured to: 1) determine when respective ones of a plurality of precursor events occur in respective ones of the plurality of said gaming devices, wherein said precursor events are indicative of an increased possibility of winning a prize, and 2) control the speakers associated with the gaming devices in which said precursor events occur such that the respective different sounds are output to form a composite sound indicative of the precursor events occurring, said composite sound being output so as to be perceived as moving from one of the gaming devices in which a first precursor event occurs to at least another of the gaming devices in which a second precursor event occurs.
