<p>A transmission apparatus capable of transmitting moving image data at a plurality of different frame rates includes an acquisition unit configured to acquire status information about the transmission apparatus, a transmission unit configured to transmit moving image data, and a change unit configured to, when the transmission unit is transmitting the moving image data at a first frame rate and a second frame rate which is lower than the first frame rate and if the frame rates of the moving image data which is being transmitted are reduced according to the status information, reduce the first frame rate and the second frame rate so that a reduction rate of the first frame rate with respect to the first frame rate is higher than a reduction rate of the second frame rate with respect to the second frame rate.</p> |
