摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating apparatus which can manufacture a particulate product excellent in a coating quality efficiently and productively. <P>SOLUTION: In treatment chambers 1a, 1b, and 1c of a rotary drum 1, the diameters of body parts 1a1, 1b1, and 1c1 become larger as they are located closer to one end in an axial direction (1a1<1b1<1c1). The treatment chamber 1a that performs the treatment of the initial stage of a coating treatment to a particle grain can perform a given treatment by relatively reducing the layer height of a particle layer M in the treatment chamber 1a because the diameter of the body part 1a1 is the smallest. In the treatment chamber 1c that performs the treatment of the final stage of a coating treatment to a particle grain, even if the number of revolutions is the same, the circumferential speed in the body part 1c1 becomes the largest because the diameter of body part 1c1 is the largest.
