PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic flowmeter having a new configuration capable of reducing or eliminating restrictions such as arrangements, shapes, sizes of components, for example.SOLUTION: The electromagnetic flowmeter of an embodiment includes a swirling flow generation unit, a coil unit, and a pair of electrode units. In a pipe in which a fluid to be measured flows, the swirling flow generation unit generates a swirling flow in the fluid to be measured about the central axis of the pipe. The coil unit generates a magnetic field in a first direction crossing the swirling flow. The pair of electrode units detect an electromotive force occurring in a second direction crossing the swirling flow and the first direction. |
