[Class 108 (iii).] Laminated vehicle springs are connected to the frame by shackles comprising spaced side members 10 connected by a bolt 15 and provided with sockets 12 supporting self-lubricating or porous bushes 13 which receive the ends of cylindrical pins 14 held in the ends of the spring eyes. Side thrust from the springs is taken by the ends of the bushes and sockets. A cover 20 prevents escape of lubricant. |
