PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a tire, which is improved in various performances such as fuel economy, processability, thermal ageing resistance, wear resistance, wet grip performance, on-snow/ice performance, steering stability, breaking strength, degradation resistance, flexure crack growth resistance, adhesion strength, run-flat durability, and resistance to air permeation in a well balanced manner, and a pneumatic tire manufactured by using the above rubber composition.SOLUTION: The rubber composition for a tire comprises a modified natural rubber that is highly purified and adjusted to a pH of 2 to 7, carbon black and/or a white filler, and an alkyl phenol-sulfur chloride condensate. |
